Seek him out? For a deity who claims to be everywhere your god seems like a chronic recluse. Is he embarrassed of his chosen people or is he just plain shy? And what's with the 2000 year moratorium on miracles, anyway? I mean, he was knocking off miracles a mile a minute back in ol' New Testament times and then he went dry and stayed that way right up to this day. And why the hell does god hate people who live on geologic fault lines? Every earthquake is attributed to his wrath, you know.

I guess all you women don’t know or read the Bible. God COMMANDS that the not only the woman should be slaves, but you were commanded to be a sex slave even within the family and were nothing but PROPERTY to be bought, sold and passed down. EX 21

@sailcat9 First off, God is powerful.How do you explain each breath you take and life?Humans themselves can't create living things. When God performed his miracles in the Old Testament, there was no need to perform any more because the sacrifice of Jesus was proof of God's amazing works.This is where faith comes in the picture as well as your chance to believe in him. We still haven't figured out where anything came from; all i'm doing is putting the pieces of the puzzle together & seeing if they fit. Just a big bowl of random chemicals that somehow exploded & created life... it takes A LOT more blind faith to believe that, then to look at your self & everything around and realize that this didn't happen by random chance.
