@alasub118 We are BORN naked, so how can you say God chose to make us covered? It is MEN who are not expected to control their own temptations, but up to women to control the men's temptations? That makes NO sense! Men SHOULD have to control themselves, they should be strong in the face of any temptation. To blame a woman because she was raped is to eradicate any responsibility on a man for any of his actions regarding women.

Blindly fallowing the Quran should never be tolerated. Believing the Quran is absolutely true and good - which is obviously not, it's a mistake. If they accept that the Quran has it's flaws (Christians did it about their bible), since Mohamed was only "inspired" by and not Alah himself, maybe we'd have less of this repugnant up-rise of ignorance & violence

Muslims think very highly of them because they say the Qu'ran includes crestianity, by mentioning Jesus. It's like they're one step above it.

Well, that's exactly what atheists feel like, one step above all this nonsense.

But when you're saying something to yourself every day, at least 5 times per day, all your life, and everybody around you is doing the same thing, you will believe it and reject anything else, no matter if it's some big lie.

@hbburgar that's exactly the issue. Sure you can talk about islam even if you are not a muslim: as seen from the outside. It's even better in many ways because you can speak freely, impartially.

In fact, a muslim who does strict religious rituals all his life and it's influced and pressure by society, traditions, personal frustrations and the fact we're living in the facepace world today, is hugely biased, therefor not speaking the truth but rather a personal opinion about Islam.

IMHO, there's one all encompassing truth, that is beyond religion, and race. This universal truth is that the purpose of our very existence is to do what is good; to do justice, to love one another, to have mercy of those who suffer, and to be humble human beings. If there is a God, it must be a God of Love, as it seems Love should be humanity's natural religion; the one religion that would make a real difference.
