If you remove all bias, you will hear the auto-tune and you will hear the track with all vocals in the background. I've been in a studio more than once and trust me; it's auto-tune and the studio track. I like Whitney just like anyone else. But in this performance she used some technology to help her out.

I love Whitney too!
I loved her young voice and I love her mature voice. Just like Billie Holliday, she has lived an interesting and life and it's going come out in her voice. It's called seasoned. I think she should try some jazz songs. Seasoned voices are appreciated in the Jazz world. I Love Whitney !

During the last 10 seconds of the song you can hear her using Auto-Tune to try and correct for the bad note.
Also, she sang over the original recording throughout the performance. She should have simply lip-synced.

well GMA is going to be around mid-day.. its being pre-recorded on the 1st sept and aired on the 2nd, so she should be in good voice! im sure she will be prepared, its an important performance and she will probably be feeling it! :)
