This video is aimed at learners who may have trouble producing an even graduation or taper. The secret is the skilfull technique of the initial clipper work. Ensure you keep moving upwards with the clippers and slowly pull away. That way you will have little blending in to do. I will shortly be demonstrating how to do a 'zero' fade higher up the head - keep watching and please ask if there is an area of barbering you wish me to explain and demonstrate?

  • Thanks FUNKtionDJ, thats a good one as male hair styles will change one day and who knows it could be curly hair! To cut curly or wavy hair accurately, shampoo, condition (leave very wet) and cut hair using standard scissors whilst holding the hair in tension between fingers. Cross check and dry into shape. Hope that helps, Kenyon

  • Many thanks, happy my videos are of use to you. Is there any area of barbering you feel I could demonstrate? Kenyon

  • I need you for be my teacher, please.

  • Thank you very much for your comment, I love teaching barbering and plan to do some more Barbering Best Practice Video's in the near future. I will concentrate on the basics because I believe they are - and always will be the most important part of tuition.

  • hi, thanks for the info. How can i get the barber manequine for myself ?

  • Hi, over here in the UK we obtain them from our hairdressing wholesalers - Sallys etc. They all come with lots of hair but they are excellent for practicing. Hope this helps?
