Here's a video shot on the north end of the yard in St. Petersburg, FL on Thursday, February 10, 2011. The St. Pete turn is uncharacteristically late in its return trip back up to Clearwater, as this video was shot around 5:00 in the afternoon. Normally, after dropping off some newsprint to the Times Publishing plant, these guys are northbound by noon. Anyway, you can see in the video where there are still piles of old ties where crews have recently replaced them in the yard and along the Times spur. The crossing you see in this shot in 22nd Avenue North and I am on the east side of the tracks.
