(I ran out of comment space)It's impossible to really define art, and my video was mostly meant just for laughs, but my definition of art is something that requires skill to create and a good eye to judge. When I look at art,I'm looking for that aesthetic pleasure too, not just some deeper meaning that an artist is trying to crowbar onto me unceremoniously.'My Bed' reeks of lazy (and presumptuous) art and DeviantART style emo self portraits to me. It's everything that's wrong with modern art.

I know all about 'My Bed'
The fact that her bed is where she wallowed during suicidal depression doesn't make it art. On that basis, every psychiatric ward in every hospital up and down the country is brimming with art.
I'd rather see Emin create something expressive, rather than presenting something ordinary (or in Damien Hursts case, extraordinary) and saying 'this is me and therefore it's art'
