I met Rick in 1978 at Big Als supper club after some girls I worked with made me go see this band they liked.I walked thru the door and heard him singing Brickhouse,then an Elvis song and I was done.I had only dated one guy in my life ,I was 21 at the time,and very shy.six months later,not so shy.Yes he is funny,yes he is great singer(better than you hear in the video)but he made me feel more like a woman than any one before or since.Six months in cars doorways allys.My gosh to be young again

Rick is indeed the greatest vocalist since Ric Hubbard of Stinking Albinos fame. OK, he's quite a bit better. And his ashtray smells less smoky than Hubbard's blue coat.

Oh Mister! It's a shame you had to leave Charleston WV because you broke so many hearts! Listening to you sing brought back so many memories. Memories of snake shows, Big Al's and of course behind Tiscawall Elementary and Edgewood tennis courts. Turns out my mom and Francis knew what they were talking about! You were so bad! But sooo good!
