BMW K 1600 GT and GTL

The K 1600 as GT und GTL celebrates its world premiere showing at the Cologne Motorcycle Show. The K 1600 GT is a sporty machine. The full touring program is offered by the GTL with two panniers and a topcase on request. All come with central locking. Powerfully accelerating to a speed of 100 kilometers per hour in 3.2 seconds, relaxed cruising, nimble handling of curvy terrain. The new BMW K 1600 masters a whole host of tasks. The tank of the GT 24 holds 24 liters of fuel, the GTL's tank 26.5 liters. The engine is fitted with a catalytic converter.

Expect delivery of these luxurious bikes to start in spring of 2011. Maybe you should start saving right now. Pricing to be at least 20, 000 Euros. For that you get real Bavarian-style Six appeal.

Last year my girlfriend and I rode my Harley V-ROD muscle on a 3500 mile road trip. She's one tough gal, but when we got home she said to me "baby, I loved this and want touring to be our lifestyle, but before we make another long trip we need a luxury touring bike." I test rode a GW and it was nice but I couldn't fall in love with it. I rode the 1600 GTL and was blown away. It's a phenomenal machine. I ordered mine yesterday.

I have a used Kawasaki GTR 1400 now. And I think I will change to BMW K 1600 GTL. But the price tag in Malaysia is RM 168k plus! That's the main problem here.

I had a FJR 1300 ..the heat that came off the engine in the summer was horible HOT..i have a R1200RT now and what a wonderful bike..its like riding a new bike everytime....if i was to look at something bigger i guise it would be one of these...the motor i bet is SMOOTH
