Watch How The Governments of Canada, Mexico And The United States Try To Downplay The Effect Of Deep Integration And Harmonization On The Sovereignty Of All 3 Countries. They Laugh And Make Jokes Like They Were In Grade 7 Speech Class.

Do you know why you don't hear much about the SPP anymore? Perhaps the SPP has accomplished their goal! Their goal was to lay out the framework for deep integration and harmonization and this can be seen in the many SPP documents available to all of us.
You don't think they paid all that money to meet behind closed doors with the biggest corporations on our continent, tear gas and arrest protesters just to walk away from it all and say.. well, we tried?

We are now seeing the fruits of their labor in the following areas:
- Border Integration
- Americans/Canadian officials allowed to police on each others soil. (allowing for their inland port system)
- Development of the Inland port system with preclearance for international shipping
- Biometric, RFID Equipped Drivers Licence (enhanced drivers licence & photo card)
- Smart Borders Declaration Allowing For The Creation Of A 2 to 3 Tier Border System based on threat information provided in the new licences. (Canadians, see Bill 85 under- the collection of information)
- WHTI (Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative) essentially harmonizing our ID system. I'm Canadian and here they are calling it the Enhanced Drivers Licence- What is the American Government calling your new licence?
- None of the 9/11 terrorists were from North America, yet this new ID system is being forced onto the citizens of our 3 countries. I don't see anything in WHTI that puts focus on New document requirements from people arriving from IRAN or Saudi Arabia, why us?
Don't think 9/11 has anything to do with this? Start reading as much information of the "Security" part in the SPP documents. You will notice most of them start off by mentioning 9/11 in the opening comments. WHTI was developed as a result of the 9/11 commission report.

This is just the tip of a very big iceberg that is about to pop out of the water!
If you are one of those people that have looked at the SPP and figured it was dead because you heard somewhere that Robert Pastor said it himself or because you no longer see the leaders of these three countries meeting under the SPP banner, I urge you to take a closer look at what the SPP were working on and have a closer lok at what our governments are currently now doing in these areas of Security, Prosperity And Partnership. The Agenda is indeed alive and well!

I vote for jellie beans made in Canada over Mexico any old day. I don't mind being in the same Army as Canadians, as we have gone through years of professional training, but the Mexicans? I don't think so. Nothing against the MExicans, but where were they during the Cold War and World War II? They have never trained to NATO standards either. Canada and the USA can be a union together, but Mexico, I think not.
