Bae Yong Joon is beautiful and brilliant. This series has everything: a GREAT storyline, amazing special effects, fantastic acting, and an intense, deeply moving love story. I cried like a baby after the first episode - So heartwrenching! You will never see a better k-drama series than The Legend - Four Gods. It's great from beginning to end.

@alicorporate If you type in FIRST KING OF THE FOUR GODS you'll get the youtube eng sub. The whole series. I want to buy it when I can for keeps. It's just that good. Watching it on youtube on my PC makes me want to get the dvd series for my big screen. BJY in living color. Yah, I could handle that.

I don't get the impression he left at all just because he walks into the light. The excerpts to follow said he reign in a peaceful kingdom for 19 more years. To me the light was him going to battle the heavens for man to have the right to decide his own fate without their interference. It never said anything about who he decided to marry or spend the rest of his life with but it wouldn't have been unusual for a King to have more than one wife or cocubine. Sujini however was his reborn love.

i believe that damdeok's true love is sujini and kiha is just the woman he once loved. I think he never looked at sujini b4 leaving cos if he looked back and saw sujini crying he might change his mind about leaving.

maybe kiha was his first love...but his true love is sujini..that's why when DD found sujini he said 'i will never let you go again'...and 'where u are is where my palace is'..(asa ka pa!!!!lol:)))
