One has to love how stupid the majority of American people are.
These stupid people seem to take the view "hands off my healthcare-until I can get Medicare".

You think socialized health care will pay for everything no matter the cost when it's life threatening... you are wrong, _of course_ there are death panels. In countries with socialized medicine (including mine), right now, there are bureaucrats deciding whether other people live or die based on cost of treatment. And look up how the Netherlands handles babies with issues they consider more trouble than they are worth (Groningen Protocol).

i think that for the past twenty years or more it has been the policy of most hospitals in America to suggest a POA and/or living will to any person being treated at their facility. this stuff is not even close to being new. are all of our hospitals holding death panels in a hiddeen chamber somewhere beneath the hospital cafeteria to decide who lives or dies at that facility?

Why are republicans so easily scared? In Australia, we have a progressive, even socialist medical system where everyone contributes a few dollars per year and we get subsidized Pharmaceuticals, and free public health through our socialist public hospitals.
I have been cure from a serious disease with medicine that costs $20K per shot and eight shots later I'm cured and can continue paying tax instead of 1) dying, 2) stealing to pay for it, 3) killing people because I feel disenfranchized.
