Please don't forget to subscribe to my channel. My next upcoming blog will be a tutorial of the equipment to achieve the sound quality. You can listen to my music at www.kvibe.com.

In this blog, I'm introducing a new writer that just started working with me. Artist/Writer is named Jean. She's incredibly talented and I believe she has what it takes to become a star. This is basically a clip of the record we wrote titled "Never gonna forget". Let me know what you guys think. Again please subscribe and come to my website www.kvibe.com

  • Sounds really good :D something wierd in the vocals, like dazzelya said, but you have to pay attention to it to really notice.

Got yourself a new camera I see, or a camera man who likes to play with the switch focus a lot lol :D good playing around, probably over did it ever so slightly with 5 focus switches and 3 soft focus segments in a 1:40 video, but hey, always good playing around :D

  • I definitely need to check out the vocal mix at home now lol. Thanks...it's the first mix anyways. So I might have over compressed it as well. I'm thinking I left out cutting the bottoms out at 80-65khz

  • I always enjoy your video's but I have one comment regarding what is stated in the info section (about how to get the quality). The lead vocal sounds very muffled. I can clearly hear the realtraps on the lead. You need some air in there man. Great singer though :)

    PM your way.

  • Ahh, yes, I believe it's more of my mixing. I only did 1 pass of the mix. I usually mix 3 different versions. I will check that out tonight. Thanks for noticing it =)

  • loveeeee this girl right here...the next big thing just found itself a winner!!! =)

  • thats that girl right thereee...i been tellin her for years now cut the bullshit n lets get it poppin cause this girl can b the next big thing right here im tellin u watch...mark my words...jean farinella...just remember that name cause i been fukkin wit her for a longggg time...time to take ova for real now, lets get it...

  • oops...i meant here 0:28 =D

  • 1:40 - me!!

  • I personally love the piano and guitar work. It's the drums that bother me. The playing sounds too mechanical for my tastes. Not enough variation in the dynamics for a tune this good. And I'm also not crazy about the drum samples. Too much "THUD" in the bass drum.

Other than that, I really like this tune.

  • Naw its the traps its the Mix, but Im sure he already knows that, its a ruff anyway...sounds nice!

  • You could try that but it's more a higher freq thing. It sounds like the realtraps are soaking too much up. I think it's because you have the mic too far in. Try bringing it out a bit and see what it does.

    Off to the gym!
