  • We call the "grippers" , scissors (because we used to have the A-2's in our house.) the way... any good video's on how to be shown how to adjust things on the 90Li's? here onm Youube?

  • @TexasSteven I don't have any videos of adjustments yet... sorry. The technical manuals from AMF are very well made and should be quite helpful.

  • where are the grippers during the setting of pins for the 1st throw? there dont seem to be any holding on to the pin...

  • @inspirebowl The aluminum cups are smaller at the bottom. The table sets down the pins, then pulls the cups back, leaving the pins on the deck. If you watch "1st and 2nd ball cycle" this is easier to see.

  • @plexnoid Well, we are down to trying to understand the conveyors on the 90XLI's. We are still getting table jams constantly

  • @JklStudiosAwesome It all depends on what you want. There are some very nice machines being made these days, and they are all better than they were 20 years ago. To answer which one is better, you need to find some centers that have each kind of machine and bowl a few games. Ask if you can go back and see the machines work, then decide for yourself.

  • @bowlingstriker2 so which is better 90xli or the GSX/

  • The reason why the machine is loud is because of the plastic bin attached to the pin bin. If it were to be removed it won't sound so loud. Having the plastic bin attachment is completely optional, what it does is reduce the # of double clutch (aka a miss feed).

  • okay.. i see.. thanks :D

  • I have a good video of a GSX from the bowlers end.

You can hear the 8 pins drop into the setting table.

Sounds very noticable on the 9th to 10th when you got a 4 bagger going on!
