The UNF Volunteer Center & Couture Helps Inspire Charity Presents: A Runway to Loving Your Body fashion show GIVE Event on Thursday February 16th at 8pm at the UNF Student Union Ballrooms.
This event focuses on raising awareness for body image issues among today's youth, a demographic exposed to a distorted message of beauty from the media and pop culture. Real people with real body types who believe in the cause of promoting a positive self-image will model fashion apparel from local designers. Girls Inc. of Jacksonville, a non-profit organization with the mission to help build self-confidence, self-esteem and help girls make better life decisions will provide volunteer opportunities for UNF students to serve as mentors for these young females.

This event is open to all students and semi-formal attire is encouraged. FREE desserts, drinks and music will be provided so stop by and check it out!
