Great video, thank you for sharing!! !
I was always wondeing how this system works but now I understand that the pellets do not burn in the same place as the wood does. The flames look very nice, too!
Is the oven loud, when running on pellets and ist the fan working when wood ist burning?
Thank you again, i love this video... I must have an Lohberger, too!

@Marquart: We share the same enthousiasm. The cooker's flame makes the normal noise of a freely projected flame. Sounds: one can hear the pellet's transport mechanism and the hum of the fan, which works also (at 25%) when burning logs. The sound isn't bothersome at all. We live in very quiet countryside: one can sleep next to it.

@ pilchardblues. Wood-consumption same as in the old cooker: 30-45 kilograms per 24 hours, with central heating connected, in an old house, not yet insulated, so reduced heated areas. Cooking is not exactly AGA with its 3 ovens, but so much better than gas! I love the big cooking surface with different hot areas. No black pans anymore. The combustion of the wood is very good: they did study how to burn wood! Very much satisfied. Lohberger gives good information on its site.

Hello pilchardblues. Coming from a totally handfired cooker with central heating built into it, I had to get acquainted with the behaviour of this automatic machine: e.g. sometimes it simply stops for some minutes - silently cleaning its grid as I found out. I am still enthousiastic about it after now 14 months. It saves time and is relaxing. Cooking on it is great of course, the oven reaches 150°C. More heat? Add extra wood or shortcircuit the central heating insert. A good alternative to Aga!
