Hey guys,
In this video you're seeing myself playing the latest official map addition to Team Fortress 2 from Valve, namely Gold Rush. I really like that map, in fact I would say that I like it just as much as I like 2FORT. What I like about Gold Rush is that it is fun to play it as both teams, exactly like 2FORT. And like in 2FORT I believe that Gold Rush has all the necessary potential for lots of action given by both sides. Being the defender is great, and seeing everybody usually working as a team to push the Cart is satisfying, it is a goal that everyone seems to want completed contrary to some other maps (although it always depend on the servers you play in). By the way when I recorded that match it was for me I believe the third or fourth time I was playing Gold Rush, so you will surely notice that I was lost at certain points.
Briefly said, Gold Rush is great, there's action, there's a moving goal, one team dies pushing it, the other dies to stop it being pushed in their territory, and all the classes of the game are put to their best contributions. The Medics are must-haves, the Heavies are more useful than ever before, the Snipers are welcome, the Pyros always a good harassing and chaos-causing fella, the Scout trying its best to move in and baseball-batting those unaware players around, the Spies doing their back-stabs while the enemy is pushing the Cart, the Soldier... well, he's a Soldier, his damage is certainly welcome, the Demoman also a must-have, placing sticky-bombs on the Cart's tracks or elsewhere, and let's not forget the Engineer, the defending team wouldn't be able to actually defend anything properly without his Sentries and Dispensers, and his Teleporters also more than just welcome especially for the Heavie, Pyro and Soldier.
Everyone is put to contribution in Gold Rush unlike certain maps where you'd see mostly two or three classes running around.
I hope you guys will enjoy this video (split in seven parts) as much as I liked playing that match!

All the classes on the PC version speak very rarely. What you hear in this video is me actually pressing keys on my keyboard which I binded to specific speech lines.
So when something happens, or when I just feel like it I press those keys and the characters talk the proper speech lines, it applies to the Heavy and all other classes. By default, without modifications, the classes only speak when very specific things happen.
