The Future of Higher Education in Oregon (Public Forum at PSU) 2/8/11

The forum, attended by about 200 PSU students, faculty and staff, focused on several restructuring plans, including Senate Bill 242, which would give each Oregon public university control over its own tuition dollars, eliminating the ability of the state to use that money for other purposes. In addition to Harker, the forum panel was made up by Wim Wiewel, president of PSU; George Pernsteiner, chancellor of the Oregon University System; Maude Hines, associate professor of English; and Katie Markey, president of the Associated Students of PSU
