The media coverage of Hurricane Gustav dwindled after Nw Orleans was in the clear of yet another natural disaster.
Let us not forget the others who did experience Gustav and also remember the people who donated their time and energy in the restoration effort.

That's a scary feeling to know there is something like that coming to your area... and nothing you can do about it. I lived in Belle Chasse, so we didn't get it as bad as you did. As a suburb of New Orleans, it was strange how everything was, so quiet, and I wasn't sure what would happen... My first and hopefully last hurricane evac.
