Remember that Americans almost always say "looks *like* shit", never just "looks shit". The latter is almost completely a British-style thing.

but i get what you're saying. and sometimes interpreting accents doesn't neccessarily mean you can say whatever and not stick to the facts. you're right though, it's a joke so i shouldn't really care but i'm american, what can i say? lol
