I remember seeing this film for the first time. Chris Evans is probably my most memorable character though. He does a great job really getting into character. @remaftp i agree, it had a Space Odyssey feel before that when the talked to the ship i kept thinking they are going to say hal :D. Then it felt they took a bit off of Event Horizon for the 5th one... Spoiler Alert .. i would have rather they made one of the existing crew go insane then the other one.

I agree with you still it is a great movie non the less, id say one of the best (at least in top 10) space opera movies ever made.

@CJEJTHEDJ The physics as they reach the sun are based on real predictions, I'm no expert but something about the sun's mass distorting the gravity around it. Also the death scenes are nowhere near as protracted as other films out there. I think they are more emotionally stirring than gory, especially (SPOILERS) Kanada and Mace's deaths. Sorry if I'm being picky but I fucking love this film.
