San Francisco Cable Cars

I made good use of a 7 day transit pass in San Francsico. This footage includes both the Powell/Mason and the California lines. After watching the 17 car turn around on the turntable, I took the Fulton Street Car down Market to the California Terminal - where there was no line. The California cars don't need turntables, they have "cable grippers" in both ends, so the operator just switches position.
