we got in kevins car and drove to dads house.
but we only got to see him run out of the house.
kevin stopped the car, and i hopped out and ran inside.
what i saw, shocked me.
mell and joe laying together, in a pool of blood.
joe had his arm wrapped around mell.
my world exploded
i ran up to them, kevin close behind.
joe looked me in the eye. he was awake.

joe-nick...kevin...

kev-dont worry. were here for you.

joe-please...save mell.

suddenly i heard ambulances.
i looked at kevin who was holding his cell phone.
the people took joe and mell
on a stretcher.

kevin-well. lets hope joe is ok.

me-what about mell!

kev-oh.. her too...i guess.

i glared at kevin.
he just shrugged and walked to his car.
how could he be so low.
like really? wanting her dead.
i got in the back of kevins car
and we drove to the hospital.

[in the waiting room]

i was pacing back and forth.
are they ok...ug!

suddenly [i use that word a lot]
the doc walked in.

doc-well, joe has suffered a great deal, but will live.
mell on the other hand, has slipped into
coma, there is a 1 in million chance
she will live.im sorry.

my heart shattered.

me-can we go see them.

doc-joe yes, mell is in intensive care.

then i relised. mell wasnt going to make, was she.
she was never a fighter.

i thought of a song, and wrote it on my arm.
