This sounds right to me. I like the way you address the common non-dual extreme view that anything that sounds like a choice must be wrong. It is dis-empowering to believe that there in nothing you can do because there is no-one and so you have to continue to be a helpless victim to negativity. I think you are perhaps saying that the negative thoughts can be left as they are (no choosing) and the labels seen to be false and simply energy (which is clarity)

@acuaman42 Every 'thing' appears and disappears in this eternally present emptiness. The 'things' that appear, appear to the constant emptiness of now. That emptiness is what i am.

Peter Lawry is quite right, everything is energy, quantum physics proves that. The question now is, where that energy comes from? The answer is in the latest book by Stephen Hawking, THE GRAND DESIGN. All energy comes from the vacuum or as the nonduality speakers say, everything comes from emptiness. Quantum physics and nonduality are getting closer and closer.
