  • In the 70's my company had motorized electric clocks that would forward something like this by some signal in the power lines. But they could synchronize hundreds of clocks this way.

  • ahahahahahaha that is so lol!

  • The battery is probably low. When the clock is trying to re-set itself it is using more power to move the hands quickly. If the battery is a bit low the radio receiver doesn't get enough power to sync the clock.

  • I have a Staiger Radio Controlled Clock, which done that when I put a new battery in. The other weird thing about mine, is that the time itself is always correct, but the second hand, just keeps ticking very slightly at the '44' mark, or just under the "9".

  • looks like it's trying to set itself for daylight saving time, but that's kind of a strange way to do it--not the way mine works at all...

  • I think this happened, in the beginning when the second hand moved a little and the minute hand moved too, it was searching for the signal. When the second hand turned a full revolution then the minute hand five minutes, it lost the signal. All it was doing was giving you codes.
