@DontForgetIran2010 Why cant we just leave the subject alone? people cant do anything without someone else inputting their harsh opinions. I have nothing against you I'm talking about the whole situation. If you want to say something bad don't say it at all is all I'm trying to say, I'm not trying to argue with anyone.

@Aeirs96 sure it is their choice, but if you take into account how much of the national health care costs are increasingly going towards obesity-related health complications, you may not want that tax money to be wasted for someone because they can't stop eating excess calories.
-
The fat side people are just lying to themselves. Lets be honest.
-
@DontForgetIran2010 I agree, but I'm the type of person who isn't going to bother them because its THEIR decision. They do what they want because its THEIR life, end of story.

Dr Phil is a fucking scumbag who takes advantage of people.

@Aeirs96 I don't think it is about criticism.I am not for obesity or being overweight AT ALL.If I see a fat person, of course I am not going to walk up to them and tell them how unhealthy and gross they are. However,Meme Roth and others like her see a growing trend that is sucking up the government's resources and other people's tax money on health care that can be avoided with better lifestyle choices. They are not wrong in campaigning against this awful trend that most people seem to be blind to

What is so funny is that overweight 60 something year old women had complained earlier that the seats on airplanes weren't comfortable for her. The truth is that since the creation of airplanes coach seats have been more or less standard for every airline INTERNATIONALLY. It's high time America realizes that we can't keep adjusting the world for fat people, they need to adjust to the rest of the world as it is.

@tigereyes5 that's true, the height and weight chart takes into account that people at different heights have different bone structures. For my height, which is 5' 7.5' there is a 40-pound weight range one can be in. Seriously, no one has an excuse for being 200 pounds+. If you go to other countries, you will see that obesity or even overweight is by no means the norm. We are normalizing it here to make fat people feel comfortable.

2 words: GET HEALTHY.
Healthy has a broad spectrum of sizes that includes big and small but excludes overweight and underweight. I find it irksome when people say things like i don't need to be a size 0 as though the world is divided between obese and skinny. If you are overweight and have no health problems fine but don't turn a blind eye to the many people obese and healthy, and yes extra fat causes problems like ulcers and apnea. But health is a concern for every size in this hyper-consumer age.
