Once a time Rekha realized the skill and perfection of Pakistani actress as the heroine and leading role in " Umrao Jaan Ada " and tribute her as " Rani performed much better than me " I have had even read that Indian director and Rekha moreover all the members of production team studied and deeply observed Pakistani movie before their project goes on set. @nawabshaukat indeed bazmi sahib was true maestro interesting background about this song Bazmi sahib were adamant that he want to have this sung by Runa Laila but Hassan Tariq the director big believer of Madam Noor Jehan power put his foot down thank God he prevailed and we have this masterpiece in short this is the creation by royalty of Pakistani cinema

@Nasirsuper100.Dear. song itself SUPERB, but when it's in Umrao Jan, so I'll talk movi also. I've seen Umrao Jan Rekha & Rani both & with no garuj, Rekha movie was 1000 times better. As an art lover, I did not see art in Paki movie except "Jazbatipan".+ If Rekha appreciated Paki movi then its her Brapan. Rani was my favrt but her talent wasted by Paki dirtros. Sorry if I hurt any1.

@Fareed63 Actually I don't have read this novel nor I gotten watch both movies entirely so I can't discuss about the matter anymore, further you can see again that I just commented on song only.However it will have realized that technology, facilities and resources wise Indian film industry has always been most forward than Pakistan. Definitely they must have keen care about all the subtilities in their representation ever *

My most favorite 'MADAM" aur iss jaysa gana koi nahee ga sakta BUT any 1 read novel. Pakis ka kamal, apni marzi say story badal dee. Umrao ki shadi kara di, bab ho gaya. Jab k asal novel aur indian movie ma Umraoo (Rekha) ki mohabbat ma nakamyan dekhae,Indai na costume, music instrmnts aur her cheez 200/300saal purani dekhaee. Jab k Paki film ma iss baat ka bilkul khayal nahe rkeha. As movie Paki Umrao gud but as master piece Indian UmraoJan (Rekha) ka jawab nahe.Bilkul unbais ho ker likha hey

Madam was an ultimate malaka and rani was a real maha rani, and a pure royal melody created by Nisar Bazmi the king of this kind of composition and so pricked,opportune poetry penned by Saif sahib. Excellent directed and set designed by great Hassan Tariq. this is an incomparable masterpiece. great upload keeps a huge figure of viewers and 11 mental retarded are deprived of soul even.
