She is so awesome! I watched the entire season of AI with her in it. Simon Cowell was right about her. She is now one of the most popular country singers out there now and the best-selling American Idol contestant ever. Can't wait for the new album coming out next year. More than likely, there will be more amazing stuff on there. Bet she never thought she was gonna be this big of a star back in 2005.

carrie can sing anything and sound great! i think her version of this song sounds great :) she is one of the best singers out there right now, i cant wait 2 see where she will be in 10 years, shes allready grown as an artist so much, its crazy to think she keeps getting better and better!

@lanrover68 Ronnie and Kix heard Carrie long before this performance and know how good of singer, she is. I think what Ronnie was saying about her adding a little bit of twang to their, yet keeping her powerful vocals as smooth as ever.

Carrie can literally sing anything with style and give it her own wonderful interpretation yet maintain tradition at the same time. She's a gift to us all and how marvelous it is to continue to see her music grow and mature. And such a gracious and exceptional person too. All I can say is thank you.

@wwofpk this was the best performance of the night. But that's nothing new for Carrie. She usually does that. She doesn't do intentionally, she just happens to be the best singer out there.
