  • Its cool and all, but why not just spend all that time and money learning to fly in real life?

  • @velveetaslingshot I'm a Flight Instructor. Many of the people you see in our videos are also pilots.

  • You should some how hook that up to a flight video game. That would be awesome.

  • Yes, we did that. MAACS is a flight simulator.

  • hmm, Bill is thinking "I didnt know this thing actually moved around", as it rolls down the driveway with him flying.

  • the ones in the air and space in D.C. are BEAST you strap in and can go completely inverted and thers one pilot and one gunner but me and my friend just spent most of our time upsidedown with me shooting randomly and trying to convince my friend to stay upside down.... lol

  • Here is an idea for you to noodle around in your head. Window regulators on most cars today use a cable to move the window up and down. They operate off of 12 volts. Could you use a potentiameter on, say, the Cougar Stick and move the counterweights with the cable mounted to each end of the PVC? Just a thought. I am trying to think up ways for a system like this to work with the Cougar HOTAS system. The one on the MAACS looks like you have to manipulate the stick to manually move the weights.

  • @rogerdodgeraviation Found it! But I did some research and I have still not seen a VTR headset from these guys or anyone else I would consider to use for Sim Racing because like you said in one of your vids, I need to read the small print. In iRacing there is alt of small writing that gives you critical data! But some day I hope....

  • @lilbro209 We used a virtual reality headset. Please see my video "Virtual Reality Helmet for Flight Simulator" I would post a link, but I don't thing YouTube will allow a link in video comments.

  • @rogerdodgeraviation But for racing simulators this is good stuff. Please tell me how you made the helmet. I know you used trackIR but what did you use for the screen?

  • 5 october is my birthday
