@DarrenDeFranco cool thanks cant wait to see the mattrabbit video once u post it and me and Eric are going over some with writing riffs with minor scales and major keys i decide to change the song just to seven nation army because that's easy and we could cover it well and it was nice t hear from u i think im going to post me covering crosstown traffic on my channel soon so check it out for the next few weeks

hey darren its phil i have a really important question about the gts i have next year does it have to be like formal music becuase me and sean want to do flaggpole sitta by harvey danger and how great do u have to be to get in please message me back soon so i know when to start practicing alot (also hope your move-in was good and ur liking life in the city)

@epicbassplayer45 hey man, good to hear from you. things might have changed since i was in it, but here's how i remember it. they definitely had a preference for 'formal' music, as the vast majority of acts were classical or dance in nature. however, you would see bands make it from time to time. as for how good you have to be, remember that there are limited spots and you have to beat out a ton of different people, so you want to be as tight and confident as possible.

@epicbassplayer45 also keep in mind it's difficult for freshman to make it at all as seniors are always given a preference. but that's not to say it's impossible. the more you practice, the better your chances! and as the move, it was definitely a lot of work, but we're finally pretty much settled. city life is pretty awesome and i'm glad to be here!
