Nigerian Pygmy Goat giving birth to one female half breed fainting kid. My sister doesn't have the father or any fainting goats and so far this one is not showing any signs that she carries the fainting trait. BTW, her name is Sunny and is very cute.

  • aww is she ok?

  • Both are fine but I have to say that the cross-breeding didn't take too well in the way Sunny is formed. At almost 3 months of age,her head is so tiny in relation to her body---so she is really freaky looking. This is really unfortunate cause she was so cute in this video.

  • Your a goat person? Wow, what does that look like? Do you have horns and hoofs?

But your right. The nag was in trouble. Goats and other herbivores normally give birth standing up. I have never seen a goat having so much trouble before. Of course I am not a half goat half person so I am no expert.

  • LOL it tried to milk the dog.

  • You are Very, Very lucky. I am a new goat person myself and I just wanted to say you could have steped in and helped, at that point she needed your help. What a BIG BABY . You have a wounderful looking little baby. So Cute

  • okay thanks!

  • good luck with the baby, my nigie is due any day, pray she does well!
