We as a community and as Bro. & Sisters in Christ have been afforded an
opportunity to serve, bless, and fill a need within our own area. We have a family
very dear to many of us whom have been hit hard with many difficult situations.
Listen to their story, as it might help you understand the reason behind this
letter. George and Terry White of St. George, Ga. have two children Joshua 10, and
little Jessica 8. Both children were diagnosed with Autism at a very early age,
Joshuas case is very severe, Jessicas case is somewhat manageable most of the
time. Terry has been a full Time Mother 24/7 to their children, with no regrets.
George is unable to work also; he has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which
has already spread to the liver. The Dr.s have given George 6 months to a year to
live. The future appears very bleak, with little to no hope. George and Terry know
that God is in control, and if you have had the opportunity to talk to George, you
will know immediately where he stands with his God.
They live in a 12x60 trailer (which is in bad shape) on a rented lot and pay
($150.00 a month). They have purchased a piece of property which they have
been paying on (in hopes of one having their own place) that cost them $317.00
monthly; their monthly income is only $1200. As you can see, once you add in
lights, water, gas, food, just the necessities alone makes the stretch seem
impossible. George has applied for Social Security but it will not kick in for several
months.

Well the Whites have been blessed with wonderful loving friends. My prayers go out to George, and to his family, and all of you who have opened your hands and hearts to them.
