I play the keyboard and this is one of the first songs I learned, so it has a lot of meaning to me.

  • Very beautiful! It reminds me of music box music - which I like a lot. Could you explain the meaning of the symbol you used in your video. I've seen it before, and am not certain of it's meaning. I look forward to seeing more of your videos - I seen your video first over on AOL music.

  • It's Luther's Rose. The white repesents the sinlessness of Christ, the heart represents his love for us, and the black cross represents the mortification of sin in us and how we may repent. Thanks for commenting!

  • I love this song and Luther's seal. I am a Lutheran (LCMS) from Illinois, and I have been since I was born.

  • CoventryGardens,

If we use logic to understand your reasoning then the oldest religion must be the true religion.

The pharisees had their beliefs rooted in old testament scriptures. Were they right or was Jesus right?

The catholic church was once beautiful but has since then fallen into the same trap of legalism as the pharisees.

    Romans 10:1-4

Although these verses are in context speaking of the pharisees I believe the principle here can be applied to the modern catholic church.

  • @Waldocounty Whoa! Did someone have a bad day, in 2010? Not nice. You could have conveyed the very same thought, but alittle kinder, ya know.

  • @ITegoArcanaDei418 I used to like the medieval heralds with the long trumpets and I never understood why they sounded muted.

  • @EX289 Ein Christenherz auf Rosen geht, wenn's mitten unter'm Kreuze steht (A Christian heart goes on roses, even it's standing under the cross.

  • @ElCharlo94 Me too and I'm also from Illinois

  • Thank you for posting,greeting from germany,beoland100

  • :)

    maybe so...

but it is very simple and down to the simple notes...

...without the fancy of a electronic genius..

    SOUNDS GRAND TO ME!!!!

  • Dear EX289,

I just went over 20 different interpretations of the very LUTHERAN HYMN!!

and find yours very simple and pleasing...

    Thank you!..

I remember this SONG being sang with full capacity of everyone in church...

...it really does not matter what Church anyone goes to...

    being every Sunday or not...

    ...it is a FAITH song...

    we shall know and cherrish..

God Bless You All in Every Day!

  • Very inspiring, both the hymn and Luther.

  • A nice try, but the wussiest rendition ever. Is this a 2-year-old's toy you're using, Uploader?
