@SebastianSlasherMP Una cosa es que tengan un mismo origen y otra muy diferente que no sea un platillo de origen mexicano. Por su preparación, es netamente mexicano; pero no sabemos si la forma de preparar el trompo se importó del Líbano o de Grecia. Ambas cocinas han participado en el enriquecimiento de nuestra gastronomía nacional, tal como lo hicieron en algún momento España y Francia.

I gotta say something here... I've been to Piedras Negras and it isn't the kind of place you'd want to visit unless you like dysentery. The last time I was there, some nasty, miserable old woman was sizzling what looked like tripe on corrugated aluminum siding that still had paint bubbling off near the edges, and a cinder block fire under it with trash for fire, yelling at everyone on the street, "Tacos!Tacos!"
It *is* like a doorway- you walk through it quickly and get to where you're going!

If I had to move somewhere where there was no mexican food, I would die of sorrow faster than i would of hunger. That's how much I love mexican food =)

I want to move to Mexico just for the food and the beautiful women. If I could speak Spanish and the water didn't give you the shits I would move there next month!
