Hello- if you're watching this you have excellent taste in music. Ever wanted to learn how to play this? Well let's get started. One of my all time favorite songs- I was actually afraid to learn it b/c I was afraid it'd take some of the magic away. But let's be honest, nobody could ever do it better than RT anyway so it stays magic. Cheers JG
Thank you so much, this helped alot!

Hey, dude~ Great feel and simple demonstration! I got most of this from watching a performance vid by RT, but you have demystified some of the tougher parts. I think your use of the A chord makes sense, I didn't notice that in RT's. Thank you so much for the effort and the post. I hope you make a lot of money as a teacher. You aren't located in SF Bay area are you?

@jwglessons Cool. Yeah, I feel like there's a lot of room for improvisation and interpretation in this tune. I appreciate your intent and can't wait to make this tune my own!

@FolkGuitarLessons Thanks to you and the other viewers. My version is definitely not the authoritative version & I have seen RT play it several times live and it is sometimes a little different. The purpose of me posting was to hope it gets people playing it and taking ideas out of it to do their own things and maybe add a few tricks to their trick bag. All the best

Dude! Thanks so much for this. I've been playing a very simplified version of this for years. It's great to finally have the real arrangement laid out like this. It's gonna make it a bit harder to perform though, because I seldom make it past that last verse without crying.
