Ironworks UE team members, Corey Greeneltch and Larry King have been having this discussion on the future of mobile applications for a while now, and it's a fun thing to talk and ponder about because they're rapidly approaching a crossroads. What will the mobile application landscape look like in 5 years? Will the iTunes store be but a painful memory?

  • Of course we are aware of development environments such as Phonegap and Appcelerator that allow you to develop for multiple platforms simultaneously. Yet, there are still testing and design considerations that must be made for individual platforms. For example, I have been doing interaction and visual design for a native app for iPhone, Android and Blackberry. Because of the differences in each operating system, different design decisions must be made for each platform.

  • Phonegap or appcelerator maybe? Comeon people, google before you post such a video...

  • nice job, cuz!
