John Wetherill first set up his trading post in Kayenta with tents in 1910. From there Kayenta continued to grow into one of the most unique communities on the Navajo Nation known worldwide for its scenic beauty, culture, people and spirit.
Remembering Kayenta from its early beginnings in 1910 all the way to the current year of 2010 with historic photos and film clips from the Kayenta Field Day in 1936 will show you just how unique this small community on the Navajo Nation truly is. Also included are informative interviews with Daniel Peaches, Ed Tano, Elwood Sagney, Bill Crawley, Harvey Leake, Frank Gilmore and former Navajo Nation President Peterson Zah.

Nizhóní! I will share this with others. Had a friend in Kayenta, Ellson Bennett. Don't think he's still there. Went on to "bigger things."
