Boating in Qeshm, Iran with traditional musics & dance.
- These kind of vessels are called "Lanch" in the native language .A lanch takes about one year to be built. Lanches play a particular role in transporting goods & passengers in the Persian Gulf. In other parts of Iran it is called "Lenj".
- The "'ud" is an ancient instrument of Arabic culture. It is an ancestor of similar stringed instruments, like the lute and guitar. Honestly, I can't play any kind of musical instruments though I wish to.

  • @assyrian2NV In pesian we say Portoqal :D in greek Portukalos, same in Latin I think.. and many other languages

  • @sfsepehr I agree with you. It pisses me off when people from both sides still buy into what the evil non Middle Eastern politicians want us to buy into. Which is basically have us hate each other.

  • @basharcali & @shootoul For many years stupid politicians have made war between Iran and Iraq and destroyed our countries for nothing. Now, it's really good that common songs, music, dance, etc can make two great nations both with amazing historical backgrounds closer together, isn't it? Peace, prosperity and love to both Iran and Iraq.

  • @shootoul Ya I know he's singing Farsi but at 3:07 he sings in Arabic.

  • @basharcali this is not iraqi arabic but in persian qeshmi dialect.

  • 3ashoow,,,3ashoow...joonom
