the email is not Shemp's property just b/c it was sent to him. he didnt have the right to show it. you could see Shemp was being a dick about the "nasty" email letting it be shown and the nice emailer's address was hidden. bottom line, Shemp is a gutless prick who should be the Crescent News Network CNN or at More Snotty Nonsense By Chicks MSNBC.
nah you're just a moron defending an asshole whore anchor who allows a person's email to be seen on National TV. this isn't the first time that this closet case did this to a person. he's a disgrace and he should go to MsLGBT where he belongs.
mrltavern, He didn't log onto Mike's e-mail service and read the e-mails. He read an e-mail someone sent to him. There didn't seem to be anything confidential in th e-mail. Hell, Mike should be proud Shep read it aloud.
In a moral perspective, it is probably not a good idea to reveal the emailer's e-mail. The sender of the e-mail is (most likely) a private person who has no intention of becoming a recipient of public comments, unlike Studio B and Shep who are intentionally public. It would have been more elegant if the camera was panned a tiny bit lower to hide the adress.
Still, if you express your views, you should be accountable for what you say. That is the contract with free speech.
