Lehman Bros. linked to drug money

Mario Ernesto Villanueva Madrid, former governor of the Mexican state that holds Cancun and dozens of other Caribbean beach resorts, has been extradited to New York on charges of accepting bribes from a violent drug cartel that smuggled hundreds of tons of cocaine into the U.S. and then laundering the bribe money through Lehman Brothers.

Lehman Brothers had to open its books to be looked at after it lost a few Billion $ and all the backrooms deals came out. Mario was caught up in the agme that some people have to go down. He is/was not a big player and had no one to help keep him out of trouble. The big players who helped him hide the money will stay out of jail because the banks are running the show in Washington.
