Here is the only duet on the Natasha Marsh debut album. This is a love duet from the last act of Monteverdi's opera "L'incoronazione di Poppea". It features Natasha Marsh in the role of Poppea and the spanish countertenor Fernando Lima in the role of Neronne. Enjoy!

  • That's it. And there's one more thing. On Youtube the voice is flattened and the judgement is difficult to make.

If she wants to earn some money why not ? She is worth it. Again, think of some rubbish type of music and how much pop stars are paid.

I souppose that any categoric judgement is always subjective.

  • YES! And Natasha spent 6 years training at the Royal College of Music on a Scholarship (unlike KJ undertaking 1 year) followed by joining the prestigious IMG ARTISTS as her agent and singing lead roles as she began her 'Proper' Operatic (no microphone, no so called' tricks') Opera North, WNO, Glyndebourne etc. Please don't put every crossover singer in the same box. That is inverted snobbery! The fact that Natasha moved onto the commercial world doesn't make her a lesser artist!

  • Guau: esta tia save cantar !!

  • very nice

  • ..wonderful !

  • insufferably awful and plodding; lacks insight, sensitivity, intelligence and a musical voice. .

  • I agree. Gives me chills. Is not that kind of response adequate. Shame about the terrible voice. Get freakin' real. Maybe if she smoked two packs of smokes a day and drank lots of booze she could acheive a more pleasing tone.

  • Anyone have the lyrics? I've been looking everywhere and they're not really matching up right.

Btw: AMAZING. The best version I have seen. Both their voices are BEAUTIFUL. They sounds like angels. Whether its the original or not, its the best out there.

  • Ye Gods, what pretension! They sing it very well, and yes the voice is warm and lovely, and the countertenor is a delight, which is alot from me as it is a category that usually makes me wince from most of the ones I hear these days..

  • This is still my favorite version of this song, historically informed or not. There is a warmth and depth in her voice that I fail to hear in many of these "purist" versions. Other than Rial and Jarrousky, I think this is a very romantic interpretation.

  • TERRIBLE VOICE
