Interesting to see this variation on the NINE pin version seen in West Country pubs. Originally called 'Devil amongst the tailors' apparantly. I must say I would like one, if only to play at Christmas when all the family are round. Beats watching telly anyway! Thanks for posting. Where did you get it btw?

Thankyou - we visit the U.S. (Atlanta) I expect there is one of these stores there. I would certainly like to add it to my collection of pub games. In our version we have three 'swings' per turn, and each swing is not allowed to come back round again. There are only 9 pins in our version, set out in what we refer to as the diamond (although it is actually really a square!) If we knock all down in one go we refer to it as a 'flopper'!!
