You're right a lot of people get married because they think it's the right thing to do... Not because they're in love or they want to be with the person for the rest of their lives. All relationships will get to that point where you feel as though you're getting bored but that's when you take time out to recall the things you and your partner did to make you fall in love in the first place... And act on those things. You have to bring the excitement back into the relationship from time to time.

Real Talk. Society and religion do press practices that seem to go against general human nature for a myriad of reasons.

I know many people personally who are married and miserable because they feel like they will get punished by some deity for not sticking it out.

Or they love the ideal of marriage so much that they force it instead of letting it go.

@majormoviestar2008 I agree with you about people NOT havin respect for marriage anymore, but sex bein too easy for men to get...I can't agree with that. That is definitely NOT entirely accurate. I want only to commit to one woman and have, but the young ladies who I have dated in past years who claimed they desired the same just couldn't/didn't hack it like they claimed... :-l

I agree. At least they are being true to themselves, and she did give him the choice to roll with it or bounce. He chose to stay, so it's all good. He's probably happy.

People have no respect for marriage anymore and are not committed. Sex is too easy to for men to get today so committing to one woman sexually is something they can 't do anymore.

i quit jobs bcuz i don't like doin the same thing over and over so im pretty sure marriage isn't for me lol. but i agree with u if it wasn't for the church saying this is what's right most people wouldn't get married.
