Hi guys,

I got many requests to do a video on how I stay on track during the week. To be honest, the week is the easiest time for me to stay on track, I just take the time I need to PREPARE for the day.

Here are my tips:
-Prepare everything the night before
-Have ready made snacks to avoid saying yes to treats at the office
-Workout in the morning (Best way to start your day)
-Eat things you ENJOY but in moderation
-Think about your goal and stick to your plans

Let me know if you enjoy these types of videos and I might do more!

Weigh-In video will be posted Monday :)

I love you all.

  • Ok so this I took your advice....I work 3-4 days/week 12hr shifts (7am-7pm) so I typically don't work out those days, which I HATE! So I'm on 4 days in a row and the past 2 days I decided to wake up 30min earlier than usual and do JM 30 day shred level 3 before work and I FELT GREAT ALL DAY...so proud of myself :) and I wanted to try your pancakes...i did chocolate shakeology protein powder and it turned out AMAZING...totally had a "Jess Day" lol!! Thanks for another great video xoxo Brittany

  • @Bipper12987 YAY!! Doesn't it make you feel SO good? :) And yay for the pancake!! :) Glad you enjoyed it!!!

  • Great video! I Those frames you did were amazing very creative. Can you maybe do a tips video on how not to reach for the junk food at work. Where I work we get everything for free, so there are temptations all around. I try to avoid them by bringing in my own food, but I still find it difficult.

  • @k191073 Thanks so much:) I'll definitely do more tips videos:)

  • I don't really understand the food combining (fruits on their own, etc). Can you explain that concept a little more sometime?

  • @s2macdon I'm not too crazy on the food combining, I just try not to mix fruit with other foods often. I'd recommend reading up Natalia Rose's Raw Food Diet. She goes in length about it:)

  • wait ! that pancake look like pizza :D i checked 2 times :O YUM!

  • Great video and great tips. I need to bring healthy snacks to work because I end up eating candy. I never eat candy except on work days. I have been wanting to make your protein pancake for ages. Your friend's apartment is beautiful and good job on the frames. That salad looks fabulous and good for you for saying no when you weren't hungry.

  • @trulyjess Thanks for the book recommendation! I'll check it out.

  • Great video with tips and advice :)

  • Thanks, Jess! I'd love to know where it's from!!! Also, love your videos. Thank you for motivating us all to eat better and live healthily :)

  • @trulyjess omg I feel I have more energy and it def helps me stay on track all day with my eats :)
