Hey bro, you are no newbie man! That is way above a newbie. You should get more practice so that you could sing along too! Just try to keep the rhythm on your head... it sounded a lil' bit off but I think you could figure that one out easily! HAHA! Way to go!

You strumming hand should be in a constant rythmm. Almost all songs are done this way. And it should be natural. Check out other guitar players when they strum.

didn't know you played the guitare as well. I must say you're really good for a newbie. You have to be some kind of musical genius or something like that, I guesse. The things you do on the piano are like amazing and this is brilliant as well. Keep going!
