The prototype developed is a portable seating device, for sun and rain protection. The aim is to create a parametric defini-ton according to the needs of the user in terms of size and curvature. The parameters to be altered are the lenght of the individual triangles, the analogy of the heights of the triangles and the distance of the folds. The result can vary in height, lenght and curvature offering different shapes for the indi-vidual users. The aim is to avoid joints by engraving the pat-tern to be folded on a single sheet of material. The flexibility of the material chosen allows the structure to be folded and transported easily.

  • Hi ArkiSirjoe,

I'm an architecture student and i'm studying right now the same kind of pattern for my parametric structure. I managed having diamond patterns on a static surface but I can't change size and curvature, and all my diamonds are not similar, that is a big problem for me...

Could you please help me out and share your solution/grasshopper definition to this origami geometry
