This year was crazy I lived in Seattle and worked in Olympia when this started...it was a crazy terrible commute and took hours to get to work...I moved to Olympia to be closer and the snow got worse loL! 19 inches worth by the end of the storm! As soon as it melted I moved back to Cali Lol!

I remember this me and all of my sisters stayed up watching the snow fall and then we just fell asleep. But at 2:30 I woke up and the snow flakes were the size of golf balls.

Hey Eric, came across your video. Amazingly, I drove out of Seattle for the last time on December 15, 2008 right before the storm...got to Portland that night...missed all of this. Moved to the East coast...miss Seattle somewhat....cool to see my old haunting ground of 14 years...cheers from Asheville NC

Hi, I started on the top of Cap Hill where I live (17th & Madison), and made my way downtown, then back up. Where all the stalled buses are is on 17th and Madison, and where all the Cop Cars are was at 12th and Pine.
