Yeah, almost all of Orwell's books are about totalitarian governments, remember he wrote these books in the late 1940's so he was basing it off of the two big fascist governments of the time, Hitler's Germany and Stalin's Soviet Russia.
This book is not anti-america at all, it is showing the horrors of what Fascist and Communist governments ultimately lead to, complete and blind devotion to a single entity to the detriment of the citizens.

What "outlandish comments"? And please, where do I state that I'm "anti-American" or "hate" anything? Its a lovely place which, like everywhere else, has some suspect people in seats of power. Animal Farm is specifically about the USSR but its lessons on trusting those in power ("Napoleon is always right" is Boxer's mantra after all) apply to everywhere.
