Canon EF 100-400mm L IS Lens Review

big and heavy? that this is WAAAY tinnier then I thought, you need to see a 300 or higher 2.8 those are big and heavy

The push,pull zoom is awesome, i like it better than the twist zoom which is painful sometimes, great review!

soo i have a 7D i also shoot alot of surfing photos i am looking at getint he canon 100-400mm L lens with IS And USM or the sigma 150-500mm is it better to get hte cannon with ither the 1.4 or 2x extender ot the sigma which is going to have better quality photos at full lenght zoom? need help cheers! btw great video mate thanks fot the info!

What is the continous shooting like when zoomed to 300mm, does it slow down, I have a 3.7 FPS camera and shoots nice sequence surf photography. Would this lense be good for that? Thanks

Is hearing a clearly audible clicking noise normal for the IS system on this lens? I just got mine in the mail today and it is sort of loud and sounds like the lens hood has came loose and that hard plastic it is made out of is tapping the side of the lens. Sometimes it has a short bursts of clicks but completely disappears when IS is turned off.

If it subject to dirt, I wonder if that means it could get water droplets inside if shooting in light rain?

i have one question...

I have one 5D mark 2, if i use Canon EF 1.4x II Extender with this Canon EF 100-400mm lens, will it auto focus...?

@fullboxxskater wedding photography, talk to some of the studios you can cooperate with or something like that. school photography, like taking shots of students at the end of the year or something. do landscape photography edit them good, and sell them each piece double from what costed you for printing. advertise yourself that you are selling photos...

I love this lens! I just wish I could afford it and the push/pull zoom is actually very nice to me. I hate the twist zoom.
