On this track he sounds a lot like Al Stewar fellow Scot. Incidently this was one of the first tracks Mike Oldfield taught him self and sites Bert as one of his major influences in fact he once said " if it wasn't for Bert Jansch I may have never taken up the guitar". Real praise indeed .

There comes a point where you just cant compare them. I mean Gordon Giltrap for me is one of the finest guitarists around and he looks up to bert jansch. But they have their own sound and it becomes impossible to say one is better than another

drake was so young when he passed,whos to say how great he would have been.nicks playing was superb.clear and perfect.bert is great,but so was nick.just different.
