Unfortunately no one knows who wrote it. Christians say the characters are real but I'm having a hard time finding facts backing their existence other than the bible.

The book The True Authorship of the New Testament has been out for 30+ years with a $1,416.19 challenge to anyone who can prove the thesis wrong that the Calpurnius Piso’s wrote the New Testament. A lot of people have found out about the Piso’s over the years including many hundreds of Christian leadership as well as muslims. NOBODY has said he is wrong or have they tried to prove him wrong. What’s your background and scholarship? Why don’t you try to collect the money?

Real scholarship in this arena is so abundant that I find it quite unnecessary to engage in argument with you about these things on YouTube. Anyone interested enough in historical facts to do research will discover the data that is out there.

OK xxpowwowbluexx what is your credentials to know what is scholarly or not? So far you have said nothing. You didn’t criticize any specific point or correct anything stated in any of the 5 video parts. So instead of being an “intellectual” coward, pick out one point where the author is wrong and cite your references. Also the video is intended to introduce people to some of the Piso’s relationship and involvement with the New Testament. You are supposed to read the book.
